out of a
growing
awareness of
the need on
the part of
medical and
dental
professionals
to establish
the business
side of
their
practices so
that it runs
in a smooth
and
efficient
manner.
While each
doctor
receives
excellent
training in
their
particular
profession
in school,
they usually
receive
nothing that
helps with
the
day-to-day
operation of
their
office.
Much of that
has to be
learned
through
trial and
error, and
more often
than not, it
is error!
Gail
began
her
career
in the
teaching
profession,
and she
has a
Master’s
degree.
She
taught
business
courses
of all
kinds at
the
community
college
level
before
she
moved to
the
medical
profession
and
became
the
administrator
of a
large
obstetric/gynecology
practice.
She has
been in
practice
management
for over
15 years
and
enjoys
the
challenge
of
helping
young
professionals
launch
their
businesses
in a
manner
that
will
enable
them to
be very
successful.
